Woman’s body found in house
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found inside a house Thursday afternoon.
At 2:11 p.m., Santa Ana police received a call from a man who said he found his mother’s body at the residence in the 2000 block of North Lowell Lane, said Cpl. Jose Gonzalez.
When police arrived, they found the dead woman and a small child who was unharmed inside the house. The child and older son were taken to the Police Department to be interviewed, Gonzalez said.
He added that it was unclear how long the woman had been dead. Homicide detectives are investigating.
