Sarah Palin emails: A prayer request, and a form letter
On Sept. 6, 2008, as Sarah Palin was in the midst of the presidential campaign, she received a request from Pastor Al Watkins of Fresh Start Christian Fellowship in Wilmington, N.C., to speak at a dedication service or “visit our revival.”

Three days later, the pastor received what appears to be a form letter, by email: “Thank you for writing to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The concerns, opinions, and/or information you have sent are important and valuable to the governor. Although she is unable to respond to each and every email herself, your message has been received and is being reviewed by the appropriate staff person in this office…”
