Letters: Obama the peacemaker

Re “Obama scores a coup in Israel,” March 23, and “Obama pitches peace to Israel,” March 22

Kol hakavod (all the respect) to President Obama for his speech to students in Jerusalem last week. This is why he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize four years ago. Our president isn’t “pitching peace”; he is showing leadership to Israel and the world. He’s not selling a product.

The president is earnestly seeking peace in the region for both Israelis and Palestinians. We can all take a lesson from this.
