Letters: Fond memories of Culver City’s ice rink
Re “A retro rink prepares to skate away,” Jan. 12
I was very sad to read about the upcoming demise of the Culver City Ice Arena. I skated there when I was a youngster; my daughters skated there; and our grandchildren skated there.
I don’t mean to be corny, but my heart melts a little when I drive down Sepulveda Boulevard and see that grand old sign, “Try it on for thighs.”
