Opinion: Matt Lauer: fired. Garrison Keillor: fired. And Trump?
To the editor: Allegations of sexual misconduct are brought against “Today” show anchor Matt Lauer, and he is fired. (“NBC fires ‘Today’ host Matt Lauer as women allege sexual misconduct,” Nov. 29)
Garrison Keillor is accused of inappropriate behavior, and he is fired. John Lasseter is accused of sexual harassment, and he is now on a six-month sabbatical. Charlie Rose is accused of similar improprieties, and he is fired. Kevin Spacey is accused of sexual misconduct, and his Netflix show “House of Cards” is canceled.
President Trump is accused of sexual assault and harassment by 16 women. His consequences to date: none.

To the editor: Funny how all these fired men in positions of authority and power, including Lauer, are only sorry and ashamed when they are caught.
Let’s hear from someone who fires himself due to his shameful conduct. Bet it won’t happen anytime soon.
