Watch live: House begins day of debate ahead of vote to impeach Trump

Lawmakers will make their final speeches for and against the articles of impeachment against President Trump. The back-to-back votes on the two articles are expected to fall almost entirely along party lines.

The House of Representatives is expected to debate for about six hours and hold the final votes by about 8 p.m. Eastern time.
