There’s ‘Musique’ in the air at ninth annual festival in Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach was awash with melodies Saturday for the ninth Fete de la Musique.
A variety of musicians performed throughout downtown while children marched in a parade. The nonprofit Laguna Beach Sister Cities Assn. organizes the event, which began in France in the 1980s.
The festival, also known as the International Day of Music, now occurs in nearly every French city and village and has spread to more than 100 countries.
