Pet Adoption Fair
The Irvine Animal Care Center is sponsoring Home for the Holidays, a pet adoption fair from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. More than 500 homeless animals will be available for adoption from private rescue organizations and shelters across Southern California. This annual event features pet and human related vendors, food, a silent auction, raffle, bake sale and Ask the Vet and Ask the Trainer booths. Admission is $1 and parking is free. Christmas Program
The story of the arrival of the Christ Child in the little town of Bethlehem will be told through the music, and drama of the Covenant Choir, Praise Band, brass, percussion, children’s group and the Covenant Thespians as they present Claar-Clydesdale’s “A Baby Changes Everything” at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 2750 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. To assure that seating will be available for the 10:30 a.m. show, the church is issuing a limited number of tickets on the patio after the Saturday services. There is no charge for these tickets, but a free-will offering will take place during the service on the day of the show.
