UCI is 17th on affordable list

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has revealed their top 100 affordable universities in the U.S.
UC Irvine rose three notches from last year’s ranking, coming in at 17th with an average yearly tuition of $9,402 and total annual cost of $24,974. Besides fees, the ranking system also looked at SAT and ACT scores, graduation rates, student body statistics, financial aid and housing.
UC Berkeley came at 16th, UC San Diego at 12th, UCLA at 13th, UC Santa Barbara at 34th, UC Davis at 37th and UC Santa Cruz at 69th.
