Man hospitalized after early morning shooting in Costa Mesa
Costa Mesa police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 2900 block of Babb Street that left one person hospitalized, according to authorities.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m. Monday when they received a call about the shooting, Costa Mesa police Sgt. Jim Brown said.
Paramedics took one man to a local trauma center, according to authorities. His condition Monday morning wasn’t immediately available.
Police are still investigating what happened and couldn’t yet release any more information, Brown said.
