A section of Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach was reopened Wednesday after being closed since the night before due to flooding, according to the California Department of Transportation.

All lanes were reopened in both directions between Seapoint Street and Warner Avenue at about 2:30 p.m., Caltrans representative Van Nguyen said.

The closure began at about 9 p.m. Tuesday as a result of heavy rains, Nguyen said.

The agency will continue to monitor the area, Nguyen said.
