Fountain Valley resident Steven H. Dang, an international business

major, is enrolled at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de

Monterrey, Campus Queretaro in Mexico . . . David Pastore, a member of

Boy Scout Troop 558 in Huntington Beach, earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

His Eagle Scout project benefited the National Cat Protection Society in

Newport Beach. Under his direction, he and his fellow Scouts conducted

fund-raisers, bought materials, and built and installed custom shelving

for the group. He is a sophomore at Edison High School in Huntington

Beach and the son of Richard and Beverly Pastore of Fountain Valley . . .

Navy Hospitalman Apprentice Michael D. Pless of Huntington Beach

graduated from the Basic Corps School at the Naval Hospital Corps School

in Great Lakes, Ill. Pless is a 1995 graduate of Marina High School and

is the son of Michael Pless . . . Fountain Valley resident Cathy Ziemba

has been recognized by the California Assn. of Community Managers as an

account executive with Seabreeze Management Co. Ziemba was honored for

her development of the financial course component of the association’s

new certificate program for community association managers . . . Teresa

C. Vaught of Huntington Beach has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer

Training Corps Advanced Camp at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Wash. She is the

daughter of Kendall and Milton Vaught, and a graduate of Huntington Beach

High School.
