IN-LINE HOCKEY
Team Millennium kept pace with the Blades in the race for first place
in the Lemieux Division on Tuesday, notching a 9-3 victory over the
Extreme at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Christopher Emerson scored three goals, Chaz Grant scored twice with
two assists, Joshua Hackworth and Derek Eichert each scored once with two
assists, Matt Walker scored once with an assist, and goalie Cliff Smith
had 27 saves as Team Millennium ran its record to 5-1-1.
David Lachman, Colby Kasubuchi and Chad Romers each scored goals,
Shaun Lamirand had an assist, and goalie Virgil De Los Reyes had 20 saves
for the Extreme, now 2-5.

Blades 4, Chunks 1
Goals were scored by Chris Myers, Kris Ehret, Joseph Guerrero, and
Oliver Atcheson, and assists were handed out by Guerrero, Kevin McMahon,
and Christopher Lincoln. Goalie Casey Becking had 30 saves to lead the
Blades, who share first place with Team Millennium at 5-1-1.
Brad Bruce scored off a Chad Pelliccioni feed, and goalie Jeremy
Nelson had 24 saves to pace the Chunks (3-3-1).
Mohawks 10, Fire 8
For the Mohawks (4-3), Sean Onodera scored four goals and collected
three assists, Ryan Onodera scored twice and had three assists, Jake
Bartley scored once with two assists, Brian Ayala and David Kirchner each
scored once, John-Michael McNulty had three assists, and goalie Kyle
Concannon had 16 saves.
Scott Taucher scored three goals, Matthew Sandoval scored twice and
had two assists, Michael Degleize scored twice with an assist, Ryan Daley
scored once, Nick McCollom had two assists, and goalie Eric Alfaro had 19
saves for the Fire (0-6-1).
