* Charle Street: A vehicle reportedly was burglarized in the 2000
block between 11 p.m. Dec. 2 and 5:30 a.m. Dec. 3.
* Iowa Street: An attempted car theft was reported in the 1600 block
between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 4 a.m. Dec. 3.
* Westminster Avenue: A car radio was reported stolen near Rose Lane
between 2 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Dec. 4.
* East 17th Street: A bracelet was reported stolen from a hair salon
in the 200 block at 8:19 p.m. Dec. 1.

* Bristol Street: Someone reportedly was driving with a suspended
license near Red Hill Avenue at 5:20 p.m. Friday.
* Clay Street: A suspected drunk driver was reported near Irvine
Street at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
* Coast Highway: A disruptive person was reported near Highland Avenue
at 10 p.m. Saturday.
* Heather Lane: An intoxicated person was reported in the 2200 block
at 3:30 a.m. Friday.
* Newport Boulevard: An intoxicated person was reported near 28th
Street at 1 a.m. Friday.
* Newport Boulevard: A vehicle’s windows reportedly were shattered
near 28th Street at 8:44 a.m. Saturday.
* Newport Center Drive: Cash, computers and cellular telephones worth
a total of $21,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block
at 12:46 a.m. Saturday.
* Newport Center Drive: Someone was arrested on suspicion of petty
theft in the 600 block at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
* West Ocean Front: Possession of a controlled substance was reported
near 22nd Street at 1 a.m. Saturday.
* Riverside Avenue: Seven mailboxes reportedly were broken into at the
U.S. Postal Service substation in the 100 block at 11 a.m. Saturday.
* Vista del Oro: A residential burglary was reported in the 2600 block
at 3 p.m. Saturday.
