Men’s basketball: Pirates pass another big road test

FULLERTON - The Orange Coast College men’s basketball team is

making a major statement in the Orange Empire Conference, defeating 11th

ranked Fullerton, 73-70, Wednesday night for its third straing conference

win.

Ryan Earl and Chad Hagedorn each scored 18 points to lead the visiting

Pirates, (12-6), while Nick Burwell chipped in 14.

Jon Tinnon and J.J. Sola each scored 15 points for Fullerton (13-16,

1-2 in OEC).

OCC will play at Golden West Friday at 5:30 p.m.
