* Beach Boulevard: Residents reported hearing about 10 to 20 shots

fired in a 10-minute period in the 16700 block at 9:57 a.m. Saturday.

* Brookhurst Street: Police received a report of reckless driving

after a resident complained of seeing two trucks racing up and down the

streets of a mobile home park in the 19000 block at 10:04 p.m. June 26.

* Delaware Street: Police received report of a prowler. Resident heard

noises to the front and side of the home, and also reported that there

was an attempt to open the front door in the 600 block at 1:06 a.m.

Saturday.

* Gaspe Circle: A man reported receiving a terrorist threat in the

form of an e-mail stating an unknown person’s intent to kidnap his

12-year-old child from their home in the 18000 block at 2:55 p.m. June

25.

* Lynn Street: Police received a burglary report of a stereo taken

from an upstairs bedroom in the 1600 block between 9:30 and 12:15 a.m.

Sunday.

* Pearce Street: Report of a suspicious vehicle occupied by a black

and white male in a small, dark blue, two-door compact car in the 4900

block at 5:46 p.m. Sunday.

* Preakness Drive: A marble statue of a swan, valued at $300, was

reported stolen from a residence in the 6000 block at 12:18 p.m. June 26.

* Seabridge Lane/Beach Boulevard: A hit-and-run misdemeanor involved a

suspect getting out of his vehicle after his black Suburban went into

some trees. Suspect described as white male, 6-feet tall, medium build,

mid-20s, brown hair, clean cut, wearing gray shirt with logo and blue

jeans at 6:21 p.m. Saturday.

* 7th Street: A dog was reported to be locked in a dark blue van for a

long period of time in the 200 block at 12:41 a.m. Sunday.

* Shire Circle: A woman told police that vandals had used an M80

firecracker to blow up her mailbox, a loss of $7, in front of her home in

the 6000 block at 10:28 a.m. June 25.

* 12th Street and Orange Avenue: Three males were reported to be drunk

and obnoxious while walking in the middle of the street at 12:11 a.m.

Sunday.
