Investigators found 2 grams of methamphetamine, illegal fireworks and

hundreds of rounds of ammunition after a Tuesday afternoon raid of a home

on Costa Mesa’s Westside, officials said.

Six people who were in the house in the 2000 block of President Place

were also arrested on drug-related charges.

Those arrested were Robie Roberson, 39; Joel Koningisor, 45; and

Crystal Deanne Linnery, 30 -- all of Costa Mesa -- as well as Eric

Faubion Fling, 39, of Huntington Beach, Steve Alan Johnson, 42, of Irvine

and Jon Scott Weir, 45, a transient.

Roberson and Koningisor were charged with felonies on suspicion of

destroying evidence and resisting arrest. Both men were reportedly seen

trying to throw methamphetamine into the backyard when the investigators

arrived.

Others were charged with various misdemeanors.

Costa Mesa investigators have been looking into the house for some

time, said Costa Mesa Police Lt. Dale Birney.

“This was the result of the investigative work they were doing,” he

said.

Birney said the SWAT team was used to gain entry into the house

Tuesday because detectives had found explosives in the house on a

different occasion.

Officials, as well as neighbors, said the house has gained notoriety

over the years because of frequent police visits, noisy parties and loud

fighting.
