Linda Ronstadt will join bandleader Natividad Cano and his Mariachi

Los Camperos on Dec. 11 for “Fiesta Navidad” at the Orange County

Performing Arts Center. The concert, sponsored by the Philharmonic

Society of Orange County, will take the audience on a musical journey

through Mexico, exploring holiday traditions along the way. Dancers from

Ballet Folklorico Ollin will also perform at the event, which includes a

bilingual holiday sing-along.

The concert costs $20 to $65, and tickets are now on sale at the

Center’s box office and at Ticketmaster outlets. The Center is at 600

Local artist in ’12 Hours’ exhibit

Dave Wirkkala of Costa Mesa is one of five artists with pieces in “12

Hours,” a July 14 exhibit at Schneider Studios.

The artist, whose large paintings have shown in the Art Rental and

Sales Gallery of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, joins artists Ski

Bassham, Denise Marie Moritz, Pla and Paul Schneider.

The 12-hour art show will be held from noon to midnight at the

gallery, 1060 E. 1st St., Santa Ana. Admission is free. Information:

Cafe Pascal to celebrate Bastille Day

Cafe Pascal will give complimentary French baguettes Wednesday through

July 14 to customers who shop at selected South Coast Plaza French goods

retail stores or eat a special dinner in honor of Bastille Day (July 14).

Customers who make any purchase at Christian Dior, Hermes, Lalique or

Agnes b. will receive a certificate, which may be presented at Cafe

Pascal in South Coast Plaza in exchange for a complimentary French

baguette.

On July 14, the restaurant will serve a $30 prefix menu of traditional

Bastille Day specialties -- including onion tart and salt-cured pork with

bratwurst and sauerkraut -- from 5 to8 p.m.

Cafe Pascal is on the Garden Terrace at the base of South Coast
