COSTA MESA

* Anacapa Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 2500 block at 12:58

p.m. Wednesday.

* East Baker Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 100

block at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday.

* Coriander Drive: An individual was reportedly brandishing a weapon

in the 1600 block at 4:13 a.m. Wednesday.

* East 18th Street: Arson was reported in the 400 block at 3:57 p.m.

Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Channel Road and Ocean Boulevard: A backpack was reported stolen

from underneath a beach towel at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Seashore Drive: A table was reported stolen from an outside patio in

the 3600 block at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Newport Center Drive: An unattended cellular phone was reported

stolen from a store’s sales counter at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.

* 46th Street: Gemstones, stock certificates, checks, airline tickets

and other property worth about $7,450 were reported stolen from a home in

the 100 block at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
