Girls tennis: CdM undefeated with PCL title
CORONA DEL MAR - The Corona del Mar High girls tennis team capped
its Pacific Coast League three-peat with its 10th straight league
victory, a 16-2 win over visiting Northwood Monday.
The Sea Kings (18-0, 10-0 in the PCL) are 30-0 since entering the PCL
in 1999.
CdM singles players Brittany Reitz and Brittany Holland posted
shutouts in their sets, while Brittany Minna added another three wins for
a clean sweep.
The Sea King doubles teams of Leslie Damion and Taylynn Snyder and
Sara Bryan and Katie Tenerelli also swept.
CdM will prepare for the PCL individual tournament, scheduled for
Thursday and Friday at Laguna Beach High.
