Community college women’s basketball: Pirates trounce El Camino

The Orange Coast College women’s basketball hit 11 three-pointers and ran away with an 88-55 nonconference victory at El Camino Friday.

OCC freshmen Nancy Hatsushi, a Costa Mesa High product, andLindsey

Galasso drained four three-pointers each, while Erin John, Liz Mendoza

and Jesiree Dizon made one each. Hatsushi and sophomore Kyra Melville

scored 14 points each to lead the Pirates (3-1), who also received 13

from Galasso.
