Youth basketball: NJB holds clinics

Newport-Mesa National Junior Basketball will conduct clinics

beginning Sunday at Costa Mesa High and Lincoln Elementary.

The clinics at Costa Mesa High will begin at 12:45 p.m. and will last

until 2 p.m. The clinics at Lincoln Elementary will begin at 2:45 p.m.

and last until 4 p.m.

Kindergarteners, first graders and second graders may participate in

the clinic. Boys and girls will be instructed in basketball fundamentals

by experienced coaches.

The clinic will last for eight to nine weeks on Sundays at the two

locations.

Those interested in signing up may do so Sunday before the start of

the clinic. The cost is $85. Each child will receive a basketball and
