Seeing Red. Entertainer Tom Mullica will perform his one-man tribute
to comedian Red Skelton at 8 p.m. in Orange Coast College’s Robert B.
Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Mullica was a close friend

SUNDAY
Get percussive. The Orange County Performing Arts Center will start
2002 with a musical “Blast!” through Sunday. The drum corps-driven, Tony
Award-winning performances will be held in Segerstrom Hall, 600 Town
Center Drive, Costa Mesa. The show will be held at 2 and 8 p.m. today and

MONDAY
Last chance to see these local pieces of art. The fall Newport Beach
Artist Juried Exhibition will remain up at Newport Beach City Hall
through Monday at 3300 Newport Blvd., Newport Beach. The exhibit features

TUESDAY
Be poetic. Kelly Fremon and Jaimes Palacio will read selections of
poetry at 8 p.m. Tuesday during the Factory Readings at the Gypsy Den,
2930 Bristol St., Costa Mesa. Musician Courtney Montgomery will also

WEDNESDAY
Discuss art. The Orange County Museum of Art will present a panel
discussion on the art of Enrique Martinez Celaya at 7 p.m. at the museum,
850 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach. $7 or $10. On Tuesday, art critic
