In NBLL AA Division action:
Diamondbacks 13, Braves 9 - Austin Blodgett started the fun with a
leadoff home run to give the Diamondbacks an early lead. other players
contributing to the D-Backs’ hit parade were Jeremy Bowinkel, who had
four RBIs, and Dominic DiSano, who had a key hit in the second inning.
Sandon Griffin added two RBIs in the fourth inning, while Brandon Pick
pitched two solid innings, allowing just one earned run.
Giants 16, Dodgers 7 - The Giants (6-0-1) remained unbeaten as Brian
Ford and Graeme Fraser led the way with their pitching and offense. Also
contributing key hits were Billy Macdonald, Zac Socoloske, Justin Tucker
and Allie Pries. Tony McCoy, John Prickett and Socoloske provided solid
catching.
Jonathan Ben-Menahem, Max Priestly and Dan Steele also delivered key
efforts in the win.
The Dodgers received steady pitching from Brandon Zelner and Mason
Case. Zack Murtaugh added help behind the plate, while Chip Zucker and
Alex Grody offered standout defensive plays.
In NBLL AAA action:
Giants 10, Dodgers 4 - Beau Attyah, Mitch Gardner, Jack Gerdau and
Eric Chebil combined to score eight runs in leading the Giants to the win
over their rivals. On the mound, the Giants were led by Jamie Heinecke,
Gerdau and Gardner. Michael Merline, Michael Hayde and catcher Peter
Weidner also provided key contributions.
The Dodgers were led by Emery Molnar, who collected two hits and
scored once.
