Surf and Sun
WEATHER FORECAST
Some chance for drizzle and maybe even a touch of rain this morning as
we start out in the low 50s with a few gusts of wind to add to the gloom.
The sun should peak through in the early afternoon as we reach a high
in the low 60s. Wind gusts will reach close to 30 mph. They’ll taper off
after the sun goes down.

BOATING FORECAST
The wind will increase throughout the day on the inner waters. After
starting from the west at 10 knots, they’ll build to 20 knots by the
afternoon. Wind waves will be 1 to 3 feet on a swell from the southwest
at 2 to 3 feet. Some chance of rain early. The wind will decrease come
nightfall.
There may be a small-craft advisory on the outer waters as the winds
in the afternoon will pick up to 25 knots on a 3- to 4-foot southwest
swell. The wind will continue strong through the night as a northwest
swell appears at 3 to 5 feet.
SURF
Some more painfully not-quite-there surf. More chest-high sets that
don’t have much to them. Rumors of a southwest swell for next week are
out there.
