WEATHER FORECAST
Well, the rain has decided not to fall on Newport-Mesa and, instead,
sunny skies will prevail today. Highs will reach the upper 60s. Lows will
be about 50.
On Wednesday, there will be a few more clouds, but the temperatures
should remain constant.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow 15 to 20 knots in the inner waters today,
with 1- to 3-foot waves and a west swell of 3 to 5 feet. Later, the winds
will ease to 10 to 15 knots, with 1- to 3-foot waves.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots, with 2-
to 4-foot waves and a northwest swell of 4 to 6 feet. The swell will
build to 5 to 7 feet this evening.
SURF
Surf will be in the waist- to chest-high range today. On Wednesday,
however, another southwest swell will bump conditions up into the
shoulder- to head-high range. Some standout spots will see some
overheads. Even better, the weather should be decent on Wednesday.
