Prep Baseball: Sage Hill bows out, 6-0

NEWPORT BEACH - Calvary Chapel of Downey continued its dominance of

the Academy League, defeating Sage Hill, 6-0, Thursday in the teams’

final Academy League game.

Calvary Chapel improved to 19-4, 15-0 in the Academy League, while

Sage Hill finishes the season 6-16, 1-14 in league.

Jarred James doubled in three runs for Calvary Chapel in the second

inning.

Lightning pitcher Zack Friedrichs finished with two strikeouts.
