Boule, A’s blank Mariners, 9-0

Chas Boule’s first start of the season will be one he’ll surely

remember.

The youngster threw a complete game and, along the way, shut out the

Mariners while his teammates provided the offense in an eventual 9-0

Majors Division triumph at Huntington Valley Little League.

While Boule was shutting down the opponent, he was receiving offensive

help from four teammates who had multiple hits: Race Parmenter doubled

twice, Chris Ottens singled among two hits and Paul McBeth and Danny Watt

each has two singles.

Drew Duffy, Mike McDougal and Robert McKinley also added singles.

The Mariners managed six hits off Boule with singles going to

Christian Slaton, Justin Draeger, Karcher Morris, Nick Gialenes, Drake

Thorn and Connor Baggett.

In other games:

Angels 6, Diamondbacks 2

The Halos collected their second consecutive win as Kasey Crandall had

two hits and scored two runs, Michael Chairez, Jacob Augeri, Derris Douty

and Johnny Olive each singled, and Chairez and Crandall scored four of

the six runs.

Dalton Heikka doubled with an RBI and Tanner Phillips, Barry Luke,

Clayton Prestridge and Devin Huskins all singled to lead the D-backs.

White Sox 15, Mets 4

White Sox bats stayed hot as Michael Bogard, Nick Refice and Travis

Hanley each had two hits and scored two runs. Sean King and Brad Hansen

both singled.

For the Mets, Fred Thomas doubled with an RBI and Ricky Marin, Nick

Mazzone, Dave Folger and Mike D’aleo all singled.

A’s 10, Mariners 2

Heavy hitting and precise pitching led the A’s past the Mariners. Cody

Moran and Race Parmenter combined pitching to limit the Mariners to four

hits, three of which came in the opening inning.

Parmenter also had a hot bat with a double and triple.

Shay Rousello, Justin Draeger, Luke Patrick and Nick Gialenes all

singled for the Mariners.

Angels 4, Rangers 3

Kasey Crandall, Jacob Augeri and Johnny Olive all doubled as the

Angels won the extra inning affair.

Weston Stephens had two hits and Tyler Goodman singled and scored two

runs for the Rangers.

A’s 4, Mets 0

The A’s won behind the four hit, seven strikeout, shutout effort of

Alex Barnes. Drew Duffy, Paul McBeth and Mike McDougal all singled and

scored twice.

Fred Thomas went two for two to lead the Mets.

White Sox 9, Mariners 4

Justin Thompson smacked three hits including a double and scored three

runs, Anthony Vidal doubled and singled with three RBI, Mike Bogard

singled twice and Brad Hansen doubled to power the White Sox.

Karcher Morris, Finau Fiaseu, Luke Patrick and Drake Thorn all singled

for the Mariners.
