Rally Monkeys win two
The Rally Monkeys came up with their highest run output in a single
game this season and went on to defeat the Green Maniacs, 9-6, in
South Huntington Beach Girls Fast-pitch Softball action.
Tara Stuhr hit a home run and also singled for the Rally Monkeys
who also received two hits each from Nicole Zapotoczny, Tori Romero
and Dana Kerins.
Stuhr and Lauren Deats shared pitching duties and Kendall Buchoz
keyed the Rally Monkeys’ defense.
Nicole Watkins homered and singled to lead the Green Maniacs on
offense.

Nicole Zapotoczny and Emma Fitzsimmons each hit home runs to power
the Rally Monkeys to their second win of the week.
Zapotoczny and Tara Stuhr each finished with two hits.
Zapotoczny also worked the mound, along with reliever Lauren
Deats.
Rachel LoGrasso, Allison Schuck and Elyse Garski each had two hits
to lead the Dolphins.
Rally Monkeys 3, Firecrackers 3
Tara Stuhr’s solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning
knotted the score as the teams fought to a tie.
Stuhr and teammate Lauren Deats each had two hits.
Sammy Cordova and Madeline Herpy finished with two hits each for
the Firecrackers.
