The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection may include a salad, sandwich or hot entree. School lunches

are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or pepperoni and cheese

pizza, baby carrots with ranch dip, sliced pears, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or cheese burger, lettuce and pickles,

strawberries, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Vegetarian health sandwich or chicken tenders, baby carrots with

ranch dip, cheese puffs, peaches, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or two beef or veggie soft tacos, lettuce,

salsa and cheese, choice of fruit juice, chocolate graham crackers,

choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken nuggets with dipping sauce, baby

carrots with ranch dip, raisins, choice of milk

The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts. (*Peanut butter on selected days)
