with Orange County author and host Chris Alexander at 8 and 9:30 p.m.
“Creating Extraordinary Joy” at 8 p.m. gives a step-by-step plan to

creative choices in living. “Joy in the Workplace with Chris

complete four-lesson course in boating safely at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays

but thorough course is designed for the limited-classroom-time

The Huntington Beach
Chapter of the National Assn. of the Physically Handicapped
provides help to disabled children/adults and help their lives to
become more vital to the community through providing informative
newsletters four times a year from National Headquarters. It meets on
the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Wycliffe Gardens

Pete’s authentic ‘Dance
for the Waves” Luau includes a lei and shell greeting, Polynesian
buffet open bar, official tiki torch lighting ceremony, hula lessons,

The Clara Barton chapter

The Point-to-Point
chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild meets on the fourth

provides education in needle arts, particularly needlepoint, and is

The Pacific Coast Mothers
Club, a Huntington Beach-based organization that brings mothers
together for companionship and support in child rearing, is inviting
new members. Moms and their children, from newborns to 5-year-olds,

community with volunteerism and charity fund-raisers. Moms from all
