Huntington Valley Little League registration Saturday

Registration for the 2004 spring season at Huntington Valley

Little will be taken on Saturday at Wardlow Fields.

The signup session will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wardlow Fields is located at 9191 Pioneer Ave., near Magnolia

Street and Adams Avenue.

Youngsters must be between the ages of 5 and 14 as of July 31,

2004, and live within the league’s boundaries to be eligible.

The cost per player is $95 for Little League divisions (ages 7 to

12), and $130 for Junior Division (ages 13-14).

In addition, $100 is required per family for league fund-raising.

Players are required to bring an original birth certificate and

proof of residency to the signup.

Future registration dates are Nov. 23 and Dec. 13.

Winter session set for foundation’s water polo teams

The Huntington Beach Water Polo Foundation is currently forming

teams for its upcoming winter session.

The session runs between Dec. 1 and Feb. 13. The foundation will

fill teams for both boys and girls in the 10-, 12- and 14-and-Under

age groups. In addition, two high school boys’ teams are being formed

for the 16- and 18-and-Under divisions.

Tryouts for the two high school division teams will take place

Dec. 1. Practices will be held at the Huntington Beach High School

Aquatics Center, located on the Huntington Beach Campus at 1905 Main

St.
