Stars hold off Terminators, 4-3
Jeffrey Beko scored an unassisted goal in overtime to lift the Stars
to a 4-3 victory over the Terminators in Norris Division play at
Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
It was the second goal of the match for Beko, who also scored
unassisted in the second period.
Chase Leamer also scored twice for the Stars and Zackary Beko
recorded 29 saves.
In other Norris action:
Ice Dogs 3, Big Dogs 2
Kyle Hayashida scored off a Brett Vanderham feed in overtime as
this battle of the dogs went to the Ice Dogs.
Hayashida also opened up the scoring for the Ice Dogs with a
second period goal, and later assisted a goal by Kelsea Wheeler.
Brandon Jones got the win on 22 saves.
Sean Mastro had a goal and assist to lead the Big Dogs, Ryder
Epson scored once and David Mastro had 19 saves.
In Wales Division play:
Avalanche 3, Wings 2
Goals by Shayne Thomas sandwiched a score by Anthony Ellis, as the
Avalanche held off the Wings.
Andrew Wade and Shaun Black each had an assist and Kenny
Hutchinson finished with 19 saves.
Predators 7, Kings 4
Kyle Day scored three goals to lead four Predators in the scoring
column.
Nathaniel Jones scored twice, Dylan Dongrid and Eric Pace each
scored once, Ian Livesay had two assists and Carey Warner and Kyle
Fiscus each had an assist.
