The lead charity and event organizer is Hoag Hospital Foundation.
In its six years under the auspices of Hoag Hospital Foundation, the
Toshiba Senior Classic has raised more than $5.7 million for over 20
different charities. Last year marked the fourth consecutive year
that the Toshiba Senior Classic donated at least $1 million to
charity, unprecedented in Champions Tour history. Hoag Hospital
Foundation also received the inaugural Senior PGA Tour Charity of the
Year Award in 1998.
