Gerald E. Sparks

Gerald E. Sparks, a 59-year resident of Newport Beach, died on

March 12 of natural causes. He was 82.

Mr. Sparks, who worked as a general contractor, is survived by his

wife, Jane Sparks; sons Thomas E. Sparks, James K. Sparks and Gerald

E. Sparks, Jr.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Scott Daniel Reed

Newport Beach resident Scott Daniel Reed, who worked as a property

manager, died on March 15 at the age of 34. The cause of death is

undetermined.

A Newport Beach resident for 19 years, Mr. Reed is survived by

sons Scott Daniel Reed, Jr. and Sean Patrick Reed; brother Steven

Reed; sister Sheryl Farr; mother Mary Rey and father Jim Reed.

Marshall Leaf Morgan

Marshall Leaf Morgan, a resident of Newport Beach for 35 years,

died on March 25 of cancer. He was 81.

Mr. Morgan, who worked as a developer and rancher, is survived by

sons William Henry Morgan and John Phillip Morgan; daughter Melinda

De Palma and three grandchildren.
