FOA’s photo exhibit at Wells Fargo closes today
The Festival of Arts’ “New Possibilities in Photography” closes
today. The exhibit includes photographers Bill Agee, Rick Ferncase,
Spencer Grant, Jennifer Griffiths, Robert Hansen, Julie Sample and
Cliff Wassman.
New possibilities explore contemporary methods and elements,
transferring film to digital, stitching multiple panoramic images
into one photograph and manipulating the colors via computer.
The exhibit is on the third floor at Wells Fargo Bank, 260 Ocean
Ave. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
‘Late Nite Catechism’ extended through Dec. 16
As a result of continued popular demand, the Laguna Playhouse will
extend its run of “Late Nite Catechism” through Dec. 16.
The two-act solo performance features “Sister” giving instruction
to a roomful of “students” (the audience). Throughout the class, the
benevolent instructor rewards the students for correct answers with
glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other surprises. The naughty are
sometimes banished to the corner of the stage to reflect their bad
acts.
For information or tickets call, (949) 497-2787 or online at
https://www.lagunaplayhouse.com. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. and
tickets are $35. The Playhouse is at 606 Laguna Canyon Road.
