wedding anniversary Thursday.
The couple met at a Pasadena City College mixer. On July 21, 1945,
they were married at St. James Episcopal Church in South Pasadena.
They moved to Corona del Mar in 1945. They built their first house,
making their own cement blocks while living in an apartment behind a

They now live in Costa Mesa, where they have made their home for
almost 50 years and have raised two children.
