Andrew John Kalanz

Andrew John Kalanz passed away the first week of March 2008. He was born November 13, 1942 in St. John’s Newfoundland to Andrew P. Kalanz and Mary Kalanz Thatcher.

Andy graduated from Ventura High School in 1960, received an Associate of Arts Degree from Venura College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from San Jose State University, and a Cerificate of International Business from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Andy was involved in real estate developement since 1977. Culminating all his knowledge, he formed his own company - Kalanz Development Company specializing in commercial real estate development and management.

Andy is survived by his sons, Andrew and Kurt Kalanz of Newport Beach, CA and sister, Pam Thatcher of Olympia, WA.

A Celebration of Andy’s life will be held in Newport Beach, CA in August 2008 when all family members and friends can be present.

Andy will be remembered for love of his sons, physical fitness, friends, and music. The family requests in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Orange County Philharmonic Society.
