Police make arrests in two drug incidents
Laguna Beach police arrested four people on suspicion of multiple drug-related crimes in two separate incidents last week, Sgt. Louise Callus wrote in an email.
Detectives arrested Dara Faye Sheinman, 28, of Irvine, and Alexander Enrique Galindo, 21, of Anaheim, in a sting operation at the Pavilions parking lot, 600 N. Coast Hwy., at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Callus said.
Stu News Laguna first reported the story on its website.
Galindo is charged with three felonies — making another person liable for alleged crimes, transporting a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance for sale — and two misdemeanors for possessing drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Sheinman is charged with one felony count of transporting a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia, Callus said.
Officers met Galindo and Sheinman in the parking lot and found 3 1/2 grams of methamphetamine, syringes, scales and bags in a car, police said.
In a separate incident, police arrested two men at a scheduled meet-up at the Irvine Spectrum at 3:11 p.m. Friday, Callus said.
Douglas George Williams, 23, of Brea, was taken into custody on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance, all felonies, according to Callus.
Detectives also arrested Christopher Ray Ayala, 23, of Tustin, on suspicion of felony transporting of a controlled substance, police said.
All four suspects were taken to Orange County Jail, Callus said.
