IRIVNE — Senior Alex Morton had 13 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks to lead the Sailors to tonight’s final of the Corona del Mar Tip-Off Tournament at Northwood.
The Sailors face Back Bay rival Corona del Mar in the final at Northwood at 7.
Kasey Thompson had 12 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and three blocks, Mimi Gibson had four points, six rebounds and three assists and Taylor Bower had five points, including a three-pointer, all in the fourth quarter to help make the difference for Newport Harbor (3-0).

Sage Hill 35, Calvary Chapel 20
NEWPORT COAST — Senior Ava Soleimany had 15 points and teammate Zoe Kreitenberg had seven points, seven rebounds, eight blocks and eight steals to pace the host Lightning in their nonleague season opener Friday.
Shelby Bolden had 11 rebounds and six points for Sage, which plays host to Tarbut V’Torah on Tuesday.

COSTA MESA — Cesar Pineda and Dong-Gi Shin scored a goal each for the Mustangs in the nonleague game at Jim Scott Stadium Friday.
Jesus Estrada had an assist for Costa Mesa (2-0), which plays at San Juan Hills Wednesday at 3:15 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — Noosha Deravi scored in the sixth minute for the Lightning in the nonleague game Friday.
Rannah Dabiri had the assist, while goalie Page Krueger had three saves for Sage Hill (1-1), which will play at Rancho Alamitos Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

AVALON — Mark Loper had 17 points, T.J. Danner had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Stefano Nark added 13 points for the visiting Lightning in the nonleague game Friday.
Sage (2-0) plays Avalon again today at noon.

BUENA PARK — Cody Caldwell scored 14 points to lead the Sailors, who concluded pool play game at the Buena Park Tournament on Friday at Buena Park High.
The Sailors (1-1) play for third place today at 3:30 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.
