UCI drops series at UC Riverside, falls into last place tie

RIVERSIDE — Keston Hiura was two for three with a stolen base to pace the visiting Anteaters in the Big West Conference game Sunday.

Hiura upped his batting average to .411.

Parker Coss was two for four, while both Mikey Duarte and Cole Kreuter were one for four with one RBI for the Anteaters (20-32, 7-14 in conference).

UCI, which dropped the series, 2-1, fell into a last-place tie with the Highlanders (21-29, 7-14) and UC Santa Barbara.
