Ocean View girls’ volleyball rallies past Westminster in three sets
Jillian Pratt had 10 kills, nine digs, and six service aces, as the Ocean View girls’ volleyball team defeated Westminster, 25-20, 25-23, 27-25, in a Golden West League girls’ volleyball match on Wednesday night.
The Seahawks (14-3, 3-1) and Lions (5-7, 1-2) were tied on seven separate occasions in both the second and the third sets. In the decisive game, the Seahawks trailed 24-19 before Wendie Smith provided one of her six kills for the win.
Savannah Bonifay had 15 assists, seven digs, and two aces. Helen Reynolds had six kills and two total blocks. Senior opposite Makenna Eliot added five kills for Ocean View.
