Breakdown: Newport Harbor (0-4) has another tough nonleague game, facing Cathedral (3-1), which made the CIF Southern Section Division 3 final last year … Sailors lost at Hacienda Heights Los Altos 21-13 last week, marking their closest game of the year … Phantoms, who are coming off a bye, haven’t played since Sept. 15, when they dropped their rivalry game to Los Angeles Loyola 17-7 … Newport Harbor is off to its worst start since 1981 … Cathedral features a talented quarterback in Young, who is completing 67.6% of his passes.
