SAN DIEGO — Brian Way produced a pair fo assists on corner kicks for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game on Wednesday.

Andrew Sullivan and Brian Pantusso had goals for Vanguard (8-6-1, 4-4-1 in conference), for which Luca Licciardi made one save.

San Diego Christian is 12-3-2, 5-2-2.

MISSION VIEJO — Kelcy Schumacher had 12 kills to help lead the Pirates to a 25-15, 25-10, 25-12 Orange Empire Conference win Wednesday.

Megan Ritchie amassed 31 assists and Carina Perez contributed 31 digs for OCC (9-4, 4-4 in conference).

Saddleback is 5-10, 1-7.

The Pirates play host to Fullerton Friday at 7 p.m.
