UCI receives team academic award

UCI women’s soccer scored the National Soccer Coaches Assocation of America (NSCAA) honor for the third straight season claiming the Team Academic Award.

“This program has worked extremely hard to be successful both on and off the field.” Head Coach Scott Juniper said of his Anteaters. “We take pride in our high achievements in the game of soccer, but more importantly, in our academics. This award shows the amount of work and dedication our players put into their studies and in the classroom.”

UC Irvine accumulated a 3.04 team GPA while also earning an 11-7-0 record on the field finishing second in the Big West Conference.
