Man sought in wallet theft
Huntington Beach police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing a wallet from a coffee shop last month.
At about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, a man was seen taking a woman’s wallet, which had her ID and credit cards, from the Starbucks at 5141 Warner Ave. The credit cards were fraudulently used by the suspect in businesses around that area, Huntington Beach police said.
The man is described as a white man, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 and between 160 and 190 pounds. Surveillance video footage showed the man wearing a black baseball cap, a black sweatshirt, a black shirt with writing on it, grey pants and black shoes.
He was seen leaving the area in a white 1997-2004 Toyota Tacoma single-cab truck with a black tailgate, black wheels and a chrome grill.
Anyone with information may call Huntington Beach police at (714) 375-5066.
