Baseball: Chatsworth gets No. 1 seed for VIBL playoffs
Chatsworth is the No. 1 seed for the Valley Invitational Baseball League playoffs that begin on Saturday.
El Camino Real is No. 2, Saugus No. 3, Hart No. 4 and Loyola No. 5.
Here’s the link to complete pairings for the single-elimination tournament. The championship game is July 30 at 7 p.m. at Birmingham.
Several teams won’t be participating in this year’s playoffs so that they can play in their own tournament, such as this weekend. Valencia, Harvard-Westlake, Alemany, Simi Valley, West Ranch and Moorpark are hosting top schools from Northern California. Here’s link to schedule.
