Baseball: Huntington Beach shortstop Chad Minato is back after Monopoly injury
It could be one of the great injury stories in baseball history.
Huntington Beach shortstop Chad Minato, bound for Harvard, has been sidelined since December with a shoulder injury to his non-throwing arm.
Asked how it happened, Coach Benji Medure said Minato suffered the injury playing Monopoly.
In other words, he was probably celebrating acquiring Park Place.
He’s back in the lineup tonight playing defense for No. 1-ranked Huntington Beach against No. 2 Orange Lutheran.
