Baseball: It’s father vs. son at the Sylmar alumni game
There was a strange matchup on Saturday at the Sylmar alumni baseball game.
At the plate was Danny Telles, a member of Sylmar’s 1983 City Section runner-up team.
On the mound was his son, senior Carlos Telles.
Dad won the battle, getting a single over second base. Hey, if the son was playing second base, maybe it would have been an out.
Something for a family debate.
