Baseball: Redondo ready to be a top team in South Bay and elsewhere
Redondo won the Southern Section Division 3 baseball title last season and return six starters, making the Sea Hawks a team to watch.
The pitching should be very good with junior Danny Zimmerman, a Michigan commit, and Rice-bound senior Sean Reynolds.
Shortstop Jason Dicochea has signed with Santa Clara, and senior catcher Marco Valenzuela is also a standout.
Redondo also has the type of pitching depth needed to win games over the course of the season with Conner Riley and Cooper Gallion also back.
The only question is how strong will Redondo’s schedule be to see if the team can challenge some of the top teams in Southern California.
